A lot of devotees do Vrindavan Parikrama around Vrindavan (Parikrama means walking around in circle i.e starting and ending at the same place). It is a 13 KM walk around the circumference of Vrindavan Dham. By circumambulating Vrindavan once, you get the result of circumambulating all the temples in Vrindavan. The sanctuary is around 400 years of age. The sanctuary initially has a place with Varadaraja Perumal (a type of Lord Vishnu). In 1868, the icons of Devanatha Swamy and Yoga Hayagreeva were brought from Tiruvandipuram sanctuary close Cuddalore.
