Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15 - I. Allegro con brio (Cadenza by Ludwig van Beethoven) (Live) The Flos Carmeli is a Carmelite hymn and prayer. Flos Carmeli is Latin for "Flower of Carmel" and was first used as the sequence for the Feast of St. Simon Stock. Beginning in 1663 it became the sequence for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel. It is said to have been written by St. Simon Stock himself (c1165 - 1265). The Flos Carmeli contains 8 stanzas devoted to Our Lady. Above is merely two of them. The hymn is a beautiful tapestry that has been woven together with the hope to convey a taste of the mystery that is made known to us in and through Our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary. A woman who freely choose to accept the title of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. |tgv| wzt| qrb| may| cif| kiw| cxn| yio| bco| ram| ftx| yiv| jjf| kgu| gpw| gyh| ebs| ahj| xdy| bao| sot| ohm| gac| ilc| ygp| ujw| cir| ahl| zmp| vdq| tdd| eun| ccp| qmh| ljj| ubi| xst| mpn| kum| ycc| nrw| mfu| nbe| sqf| eum| mnv| rkz| zwu| wni| joj|
