Talespinner Children's Theatre has been one of the best-kept secrets in Cleveland's arts community for a decade — but the organization doesn't want to be a secret anymore. Driving the news: Talespinner will host a ribbon-cutting and open house for its new location inside 78th Street Studios from 5-7:30pm Friday. Talespinner Children's Theatre was founded in 2011 by Alison (Ali) Garrigan. After many years of dreaming of a professional children's theatre for the young people and families of her community, the moment that put things in motion came about at a Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) artists' meeting, when Executive Artistic Director Raymond School of Fish is an immersive, interactive new work for children ages 0-6 in which patrons will be transported under the sea to join a school of fish working together to save a sea turtle.
