Scheffler's footwork isn't a new element in his swing. He's been moving his feet like that since he was a teenager. When Scheffler was in high school, his right foot started its signature Kansas City shuffle (plural Kansas City shuffles) An advanced form of confidence trick where the mark is aware of being involved in a swindle and believes that he or she can outsmart the swindler; however, this is all part of the trick, and by attempting to retaliate, the mark unwittingly assists the con artist. "Kansas City Shuffle" is the name of a 1926 jazz song.
