From Scout outings in 1920 to pioneer cottaging, train excursions, maple syrup making, beekeeping and countless other activities, the author's long association with the Don makes for fascinating reading in this 1950-1953, resulting in the Charles Sauriol Parkette on the southwest corner of Hillside Drive and Broadview Avenue. Major realignment of Pottery Road between 1966 to 1968 altered the road to its current location today.
