Robert Konieczny. An architect, graduate of Architecture at Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In 1996 he received the certificate of New Jersey Institute of Technology. A leader and a founder of KWK Promes architecture studio established in 1999. In 2016 project - National Museum - Dialogue Centre Przełomy in Szczecin was found Architectural studio founded in 1999 by Robert Konieczny (b. 1969) and Marlena Wolnik (b.1973) in Katowice. KWK Promes is one of the most successful and recognisable Polish architectural studios abroad. The KWK Promes Konieczny studio designs a circular-shaped house with sustainability as the focal point. Thanks to the use of natural materials, renewable energy sources and excellent thermal insulation, it functions as a passive house. VIDEO.
