Grotte del Passetto. A lovely area of Ancona, very peaceful and relaxing, and easy to find, from the Town Centre. Well worth a visit. A beautiful place right next to the old town of Ancona, so you can easily head there by foot. The fishermen's cavern with the colorful doors make a nice scenery. The "Passetto" beach can be accessed from the city centre of Ancona by going down the long white staircase under the "Monumento ai Caduti" WWI monument, or by walking through the park on the left of the monument. You can relax in one of the beach establishments or take a walk by the sea to the caves.
