Unlike Fang, Vanille has a decent number of standard Synergist Abilities as well, including Veil, Vigilance, and Vanille is a mysterious girl from Gran Pulse who accompanies her childhood friend, Fang. Despite facing many hardships, Vanille remains a caring and upbeat person. She is an endearing young woman with a relentlessly sunny disposition. Her bright personality gives no hint of the dark resolve that lies within as well as the dark secrets of her Vanille - Saboteur Crystarium. Vanille is a very effective Saboteur with a variety of Abilities, though she is more concentrated on defense-lowering debuffs. She cannot inflict Slow, Curse, or Daze, and also lacks Fogga and Painga, but has single- and multi-target versions of every other Saboteur Ability.
