Barros began racing scooters in his hometown of Sao Paolo and, after winning the Dr. de Barros, P.Eng. has an extensive experience in the industry having worked for five years in transportation engineering consulting firms, and is the former director, airport infrastructure of the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency, where he was responsible for regulation and oversight of airport standards, operations and safety.
