Playdium is a family entertainment centre chain owned by Cineplex Entertainment. It consists of three locations. The chain first launched on September 7, 1996, opening its first location in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada as Sega City @ Playdium. It was located near the Square One Shopping Centre and served as the chain's flagship location. Cineplex has unveiled plans to inaugurate a new Playdium complex at CF Fairview Mall in Toronto, Ontario. Per the news release, the construction of the entertainment complex located adjacent to the Cineplex Cinemas Fairview Mall entrance, is set to commence next month, with its doors expected to open in late 2024.
