This is a really nice beach and very popular with surfers. In the summer there's a lifeguard point which good thing as the surf is strong. There are also places to lock up your bike and outdoor showers. for the little ones, the waves are possibly too big Hourtin Plage. The beach is just 300 metres away from the campsite entrance, and what a beach it is! Powder-soft white sand backs on to sand dunes, and the roar of the rolling Atlantic waves are invigorating. There's a life-guarded area for swimming.
