SPOTSWOOD — Signs of the town's past are popping up all over, thanks to the efforts of the borough's Cultural and Heritage Commission. As part of the town's centennial celebration, commission member Chuck Hager identified 80 buildings that were standing in 1908, the year the town was incorporated. Many of the structures are privately Frost Woods Loop. Head out on this 2.4-mile loop trail near Spotswood, New Jersey. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 51 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, mountain biking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
