Sunstone CSU Startup Competition Winners. On May 5, 2023, 36 teams from 18 California State University campuses came together for the inaugural CSU-wide startup launch competition hosted at San José State University. Prizes of $25,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for third place in each track were sponsored by Sunstone Tuition at Santa Clara University, a private college in California, is $56,880 for the 2022-2023 school year. As a whole, the CSU schools are less selective and competitive than the UC schools.
