Petrol is usually around 25 cents a litre cheaper than Melbourne prices (cigarettes are cheaper in local businesses) and there is no traffic jam in Norlane, like there is in Werribee, Tarneit, Point Cook, etc etc. This has resulted in more than 5,500 jobs being lost creating generational disadvantage in the northern suburbs of Norlane and Corio.
