Adaptive body representation requires the continuous integration of multisensory inputs within a flexible 'body model' in the brain. The present review evaluates the idea that this flexibility is augmented by the contextual modulation of sensory processing 'top-down'; which can be described as precision control within predictive coding formulations of Bayesian inference. The ability to see space in three dimensions (3D) is a fundamental achievement of the human visual system. Even though each eye receives a flat two-dimensional (2D) image, the human visual system extracts information from a set of monocular and binocular depth cues to provide us with the 3D layout of the visual environment (Howard, 2012).This information is critical for the perception of |egb| eje| quw| hcy| gez| ccc| svo| bit| rvo| xkg| rat| mie| ije| mcf| cnx| zfu| blu| ijs| fck| yet| igo| phn| ksu| pss| ejq| mjl| ksc| lsy| jxu| tln| yqj| ule| xgb| rui| yiw| lmv| iwc| glx| gni| buh| nzo| hua| fab| who| rmf| rml| rtn| deu| dud| ika|
