About Us. KUSSHI was born out of the desire to create the best makeup bag on the market. We understand your beauty products are an investment and we believe in developing cosmetic bags and travel accessories that protect them. KUSSHI grew from a persistent packing problem—makeup bags that got dirty, couldn't be washed and lacked product Kusshi. Still a rarity on East Coast menus, Kusshis are all the rage out West, due to their small size and ultra-clean flavor. Grown by Keith Reid, a highly innovative grower in Deep Bay, Kusshis are grown in floating trays and tumbled very aggressively. This breaks off the thin growing edge and forces them to deepen and thicken their shells. The Kusshi Makeup Bag unzips fully on three sides, so it lays out almost completely flat. This is fantastic for being able to see all of your makeup without having to dig. You can also zip open the top and use it as you would any normal bag.
