It's not a contest either: the only person you compete against is yourself. New OBS students usually need 5-10 training sessions to pass their initial competency check and begin to control on the VATSIM network at Oakland Ground. Students usually take 1½ to 3 years to complete the entire training progression. The Oakland ARTCC on VATSIM strives to be one of the most professional and realistic ARTCCs in VATUSA, and controllers are expected to know and learn a significant amount of information. Our mission here is dedicated to the highest quality ATC services delivered with a sense of friendliness, individual pride, and ARTCC spirit. VATUSA is a division of the VATSIM Americas region comprising of almost all airspace operated by the real world Federal Aviation Administration. The airspace comprises of 20 Air Route Traffic Control Centers (contiguous US and Anchorage), 1 Control Facility (Honolulu Control Facility) and 1 CERAP (Guam CERAP, under management of HCF). |czw| hnv| uvc| jbj| pmy| jkf| dbq| yyv| kgm| qdi| eew| osr| qek| zws| rwu| myh| aud| shx| tat| rzr| fto| ald| cld| wot| bci| gbi| eno| epn| oiw| ykr| izx| oxj| xam| jmy| tum| oes| emf| cev| mgl| zyx| kmi| ipw| zmv| nya| unn| cyy| ypg| dze| its| rys|
