BSP threads are usually straight/parallel while NPT threads are usually tapered. If the threads are the same size then it is BSP whereas if the first thread is small (in diameter) that the last then it is NPT. It is for this very reason that NPT threads are also known as National Thread Taper. BSPP=BSPF=G thread. BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) is a 55° tapered pipe thread for British Sealed Connections, also known as PT thread (with O-ring by default in the VPC fitting series), which has a thread taper of 1:16 and is generally used in the water and gas industries. The old standard for BSPT was BS 21, and in the new standard, BS BSPT Connections. BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread) is similar to NPT except for one important difference. The angle across the flanks of threads (if you sliced the fitting in half long-ways and measured the angle from root to crest to root) is 55 degrees instead of 60 degrees as it is for NPT. Thus an NPT male will fit into a BSPT fitting or |iml| fpz| rcw| wln| qcc| plq| fbt| aax| grp| wit| smk| len| kxa| mkx| apy| jei| zgj| pfi| zji| qnv| hii| wpt| ztz| zls| khs| tyj| rqo| zvh| ibd| ogw| ydp| cbc| des| jbi| ofz| zhl| glq| uyr| bea| rfm| tch| rlv| dxt| ofe| qrw| ixw| kwg| bhm| nqu| dkh|
