The Ruggles Station is one of the hubs of the extended Orange Line, replacing the Washington Street Elevated, built in 1901. From Back Bay to Forest Hills, the eight-station line runs 4.7 miles along a sunken railroad bed across town and parkland. Each MBTA line has a different aesthetic, designed with reference to its surroundings.Ruggles Hall is located on 114th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway, right across from John Jay Hall. It consists of suites of four, six, or eight people, and houses mostly juniors, with some sophomores and seniors. The ranch, located at 5150 Mckeachie Road, is the original Mckeachie Home and Farm. First used as a dairy farm into the late 1950's, it was then a beef cattle farm into the 1990's. When the beef cattle were sold, we did hay, wheat, sweet corn, pumpkins, and two farm markets.
