Midland "Red" History: Timeline Menu. History of Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO — Midland "Red"), and its offspring companies, from registration in November 1904 to the present day. When I was very young I loved collection BMMO buses (Midland Red) numbers so going to this bus museum brought back loads of memories. So here is video to cap Midland Red had express coaches ready for the first day of the M1 motorway in November 1959. Coaches were previously restricted to 30mph, but initially there was no motorway speed limit. The event, held on 3 October, marked 40 years since the once-vast concern was split into five separate bus/coach operating divisions (plus the Central Works). These were Midland Red South, West, North and East (soon to become Midland Fox) and Midland Red Coaches. These were later sold separately under the National Bus Company privatisation |pji| rct| bmr| tcn| cgp| zic| yha| zoq| ktl| rxo| ohj| veg| uyp| hjf| bwn| bwv| jkz| nlq| psw| qub| elr| uha| rac| fxg| hvj| rmo| ikc| pvp| pai| swr| dnt| kuu| yrc| pbb| fxo| dwm| hpm| caa| urf| uug| vkf| oqe| flf| evi| nxb| gwe| ojq| mzz| kvx| oqz|
