Framfield is a village and civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England. The village is located two miles (3 km) east of Uckfield; the settlements of Blackboys and Palehouse form part of the parish area of 6,700 acres (2,706 ha). History. About. The Lavender Line is a heritage railway based at the restored Victorian station of Isfield near Lewes in East Sussex. It is has been operated and maintained almost entirely by volunteers since 1993. It is open to the public for one mile train rides on most Sundays and bank holiday Mondays and hosts special events and functions at other Isfield Place is a formal compartmentalised garden laid out from the late-19th century to the west and south of an Elizabethan manor house.
