Hoya archboldiana. This hoya comes from Papua New Guinea and it was described in 1937. It's a climbing hoya with rather big leaves, about 12-16 cm long and 4.5-5 cm wide. The leaves have a prominent vein along the middle and no silver flecks. Hoya archboldiana has thick hard leaves. New leaves have a dark brownish red colour. archboldiana and H. macgillivrayi were discovered later. Kloppenburg (1993) attempted to expand on Schlechter and added H. macgillivrayi to section Physostelma, but failed to consider H. archboldiana.
