Our pilot project began in 2016 and focuses on exploring the history of Ithaca, New York in the late 19th and early 20th century using interactive search functions which allow users to find information on historic maps about people and places. The History Center is now operating out of the Tompkins Center for History & Culture, a heritage tourism space in downtown Ithaca. The History Center shares with over a dozen other local non-profits. Visitors can enter through the front door adjacent to the Bernie Milton Pavilion.
