Up to Youth is a five-year activity that works to empower youth vulnerable to social exclusion by mobilizing and engaging them to create positive change in their communities. It achieves this through youth engagement activities, skills-building, and fostering an environment that gives young people the agency and USAID/Kosovo's Young Entrepreneurs Program invested $246,000 through the Development Credit Authority (DCA) spurring a local bank to lend up to $2.1 million to Kosovar youth aged 18-35, fostering entrepreneurial opportunities and stimulating local economic growth and job creation. Youth Development Competencies Program (YDCP) (Russia) USAID's EMPOWER Private Sector program supported the GEW festivities, and it provides support every day to Kosovo's private sector and its entrepreneurs, with a special emphasizes on strengthening the skills of women and youth.
