But if we imagined for a moment that the 11th album by Sleater-Kinney - the evergreen duo of singing guitarists Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker - had Carrie Brownstein, Sleater-Kinney's lead guitarist and vocalist, and star of the hit TV show Portlandia, won't be visiting Portland, the city she made famous, on the band's 10-date mini-tour. In fact, she won't even leave her home city of New York for half of it. After performing at almost every medium-sized venue in New York,Sleater-Kinney have confirmed details of a UK and European tour to take place this summer, in addition of their new album Little Rope.
