The terrain is challenging (i.e. big rocks/boulders and uphill approx 1300 ft) and the falls are non-existent in the heat of the summer (i.e. July). Relatively shaded. Hiking shoes are a must and hiking poles could be useful. This is a short hike (approx 1 hour-1.5 hours up and 1 hour down), approx 6 kms. This trail goes to Lusk Cavern from the Luskville Falls parking lot. The hike begins with a steep climb, but stays elevated for the rest of the way, before descending more gently to the end point. For a good twenty kilometres, you cross a huge part of Gatineau Park, passing through multiple viewpoints.
