While experts have long espoused the idea that exposure to the arts plays a critical role in primary and secondary schooling, education systems globally have Explore journalism through the art, technique and storytelling of photography. Students will develop a visual vocabulary through the study of important photographers and photojournalists as well as examine the intersection of art and journalism. As students expand their classroom out into the local neighborhood and the city, they will seek to FLAG Art Foundation 's latest exhibition, "The Times," drives that point home in presenting the work of more than 80 artists who incorporate physical (and ideological) aspects of the New York Times.
