University Hall is a student hall of residence at the University of St Andrews in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. When it opened in 1896 it was the first residence for women students in Scotland. University Hall is now a mixed residence. Louisa Lumsden was the first warden of the new residence hall and remained in that position until 1900. Over the summer months, visitors to St Andrews have the option of staying in University accommodation. A number of the University's halls of residences are transformed into great value summer accommodation, offering both self-catered and bed and breakfast options in a range of settings.
