Longer-term aftercare services are available through Indigenous Services Canada from now until 2020. Services include counselling and cultural support services for survivors, family members and those affected by the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. NIWRC has organized to raise awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW) on a national scale for the past decade.
