LDC has invested £40m for a substantial minority stake in GVA Grimley, a commercial property consultancy. The deal was part of a financial restructuring that involves GVA Grimley converting from being a limited liability partnership (LLP) into a limited company (Ltd). Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays provided a structured package of acquisition finance and working capital facilities to GVA has 1,500 employees in 15 offices in the U.K., Ireland and Poland alone, and is a founding member and majority shareholder of GVA Worldwide.
