Thornlie has over 20 specialist computing laboratories and access to modern Japanese Exchange Program In 1991, Thornlie Senior High School formed a sister school relationship with Amagasaki-Inazono SHS from Osaka, Japan. This relationship was formed under the auspices of the WA and Hyogo Prefectural Governments to foster International Understanding.
