To reach the OHV parking for the Rocky Run ORV Trail, travel west from Harrisonburg, VA, on Rt. 33 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right on Rt. 612 for approximately 4.5 miles. Turn left onto Forest Development Road (FDR) 72 at Gospel Hill Church. Follow FDR 72 for 5-6 miles and turn left on the trailhead access road for about one mile. The Huron ORV Trail is a 45.4 mile out and back trail located on the eastern portion of the Huron National Forest. This trail has four trailheads and is located near Oscoda. This trail is open to highway legal OHV's 50" in width. A 30.8 mile stretch of the MCCCT is located in the western portion of the Huron National Forest. The Off-Road Vehicle Advisory Workgroup assists the Michigan Trails Advisory Council and advises the DNR as it relates to the creation, development, operation and maintenance of the state's designated snowmobile trail system. With 4,000-plus miles of state-designated ORV trails and scramble areas, Michigan is an ORV riding destination.
