A major tourist attraction and part of a World Heritage Site, Llangollen Wharf in the North Wales town of Llangollen presents beautiful scenery and the perfect day out for all the family.. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal across the River Dee in the Vale of Llangollen in northeast Wales. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks in Wales. The aqueduct is a 1,800-foot-long, 125-foot-high structure that consists of 18 arches. General boat hire on the lake is available seasonally and fishing boat hire is available throughout the year.
