Henry Branham House, 1818, Eatonton. Also known as the Branham-Imperial Mill House, this structure began life as a simple Piedmont Plain and various modifications have transformed it into the present Greek Revival form. Much of that transformation was accomplished by Imperial Mill in 1927-28, when it became the residence of its superintendents. Founded in 1808, Eatonton features a historic downtown district, prominent throughout the Civil War. Today, the area boasts two man-made lakes, two Native American effigies, scenic highways, a blooming arts culture, museums dedicated to notable locals, and much more.
