Every year in February, the seaside city of Delray Beach holds 'The Best Stinkin' Party in Town': The Garlic Fest. Taking place for three straight days in Old School Square right off of popular Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach, the festival is filled with NSF: The Delray Beach Garlic Fest is modeled after the original Garlic Fest in Gilroy, California, which began thirty-five years ago. We have designed the event as a community fundraiser that is now staffed by 15 local nonprofit organizations, over 500 volunteers, several full-time staff people, and over 25 contractors.
