Currently the company's president, DeSanto will succeed current CEO Ted Mathas when Mathas retires on April 15 Ted Mathas, who was most recently CEO and Chairman of New York Life for 14 years, will serve as Chairman of the LifeX Board, in addition to his role as Senior Advisor to Stone Ridge.
