Prolific and renowned American composer, Brian Balmages obtained a Bachelor's of Music degree in music industry from James Madison University, with a focus on trumpet performance, and a Master's of Music in media scoring The La Quinta High School Wind Ensemble performing "Nevermore" by Brian Balmages at the 2013 Indio SCSBOA Band Festival, under the direction of Darren Loney.
