Afshin Ellian (Perzisch: افشین الیان) (Teheran, 27 februari 1966) is een Perzisch-Nederlandse rechtsgeleerde, filosoof en dichter. Hij is een expert in het internationaal publiekrecht en rechtsfilosofie. Afshin Ellian is Professor of Jurisprudence. He is also Head of the Department Jurisprudence and Deputy Academic Director of the Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of the Law at Leiden University.
