We decided to go o this Jain temple when we visited Hyderabad. The place is also called Kulpakji and is very familiar to Jains. The temple is known to many Jains who are regular going on pilgrimage. The main idol here is around 2000 years old of Shri Mahavir Swami. There are also idols of Adeshwar Bhagwan, Neminath bhagwan and Parshwanathji Kulpakji Jain Mandir. Kulpakji Jain Mandir, is on the way to Warangal.At a distance of 83 km from Warangal and 81 km from Hyderabad, the 2000 years old Jain Temple of Mahavira is located in Kolanupaka village (also called as Kulpak) in Nalgonda district. It's architecture is marvelous. Kolanupaka Temple temple is more than 2,000 years old. A number of Jain antiquities have been discovered in Kulpakji. A grant mentioning a gift to a basadi during the rile of Sanfkaragana (9th century) has been found at Akunur.
