With backing from David Zwirner and in partnership with independent galleries located primarily in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, Platform will present 100 original works priced On May 23, David Zwirner opened two new spaces located at 612 and 616 North Western Avenue in Melrose Hill, Los Angeles. Built in the 1930s, these two existing one-story adjacent buildings were renovated by Selldorf Architects and feature new skylights that fill the galleries with natural light, as well as a dedicated bookshop spotlighting David Zwirner Books. Zwirner is the latest of more than a dozen New York galleries to open an LA location in the last year, having bought the flagship site in 2021 for $6 million.
