His father was the founder of Kiplinger Washington Editors, publishers of The Kiplinger Letters and Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine.From 1961 to 1992, Kiplinger helmed the Kiplinger Company before passing KIPLINGER--Austin Huntington "Kip".
