Nogalesアリゾナ州ウォルマートが近接戦闘
Law enforcement agencies are keeping a tight lid on information related to Monday's pursuit of an 18-wheeler that ended with police shooting and killing the driver in Nogales.
The First Battle of Nogales, was a military confrontation between federal Mexican forces and rebel Constitutionalists during the Mexican Revolution. The battle was fought at the border city of Nogales, Sonora on March 13, 1913. Rebel forces under General Alvaro Obregon attacked the federal garrison of about 400 infantry. Obregon's army included infantry, cavalry and at least one artillery piece.
On March 22, 1918, in separate incidents, a U.S. cavalryman on patrol in Douglas was shot by a mounted gunman on the Mexican side of the border, and an unidentified Mexican was shot at the border crossing in Nogales after failing to heed a U.S. soldier's order to halt. Cross-border hostility grew more intense by the day.
