With Steinberg UR 44 Turns out that the length of the stock pups on the SX short-scale jazz bass are, in fact, different. The bridge pup is a dead match for the SJB2B, and the neck pickup is damn close. I have lots of tools for building radio controlled combat gliders, so if I'm careful I should be able to make things fit *AND* not totally destroy my pickguard.
