Combined, these Houston metro veteran organizationsemploy 325 people, earn more than $16 million in revenue each year, and have assets of $31 million. This group was created to connect military members moving to the Houston Area, including Galveston Island, with other members already living in Houston Representatives of the International Management District joined Mayor Sylvester Turner and other officials today (Friday, May 26) for the dedication of a memorial at Club Creek Park to honor U.S. military members from the Houston area who died in the Vietnam War.
