The Mount Larcom walking trail/climb can be found between the Mount Larcom township and Gladstone. The turn off is signposted with a brown tourist attraction style sign common in Queensland. There is a flat grassed area at the start of the trail that can be used for parking. The prominent and distinctive peak of Mount Larcom is visible to the north-west from most points in Gladstone, with its summit 632 metres above sea level.
