A bushfire is tearing through shrub and farm land south of Perth today, burning down sheds and threatening homes in Baldivis. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services have issued an emergency warning for people bounded by Kwinana Freeway to the west, Mundijong Road to the north, Kargotich Road and Rapids Road to the east and Karnup Road to the south. Firefighters have extinguished a bushfire on Mundijong Road in Baldivis. UPDATE: The alert has been downgraded to ALL CLEAR and the bushfire has been extinguished.
