CÓRDOBA, Argentina --- The Ministry of Defense, led by Agustín Rossi, reports that the Argentine Aircraft Factory "Brig. San Martín " S.A. (FAdeA) today finalized the transfer and delivery of the sixth IA 63 Pampa III aircraft to the VI Brigade of the Argentine Air Force (FAA), located in the Buenos Aires town of Tandil. The IA-63 Pampa was produced in two variants, namely Vought Pampa 2000 and AT-63 Pampa. It is fitted with two UPC S-III-S3IA63 ejection seats with the rear seat slightly raised to render clear visibility. The cockpit is equipped with a single head up display, two multifunctional displays, voice over recorder and a radar warning receiver. The Pampa III was produced domestically by the Fábrica Argentina de Aviones (FAdeA, Argentine Aircraft Factory) and joins five examples already operational in providing advanced pilot training and light attack capabilities.
