In this study, the optical response of the fruit of Pollia condensata C.B. Clarke is analyzed in relation to its anatomy.Pollia is a pantropical and warm-temperate genus of approximately 20 species of herbaceous perennials in the monocot spiderwort family Commelinaceae.Pollia condensata, an African forest understory species that ranges from the Ivory Coast to Ethiopia and south to Angola and Pollia condensata.
