It was built under the private funding initiative (PFI) scheme for Leeds and is maintained by Mitie. We are now a two form entry school with nursery provision for 3-4 year olds and we have a before and after school club The school is an average-sized primary school for boys and girls aged 3-11 years; in September 2002 the first Year 6 class of pupils was formed. The school is situated close to the centre of Mansfield.
