Queues of customers turned up for the much-anticipated opening of Bradbeers, in the former Debenhams building in Blue Boar Row. Beverley Stannard was the first person waiting in the queue. She said: "I have been to the one in Romsey. The demolition of a former Debenhams store in Hampshire has been approved paving the way for 600 new flats. The proposals, put forward by Southampton Estates Ltd, relate to the store on Queensway, Southampton which has been empty since it closed back in April 2020 during the first lockdown.
